Welcome to the ASG website.

Visitors can apply for membership or a site account by using the application links at the top of the left column.  Additionally, visitors can check out our wiki for most information regarding our guild, and post in the public forums, although a guild launch account is required to post.

ASG members can login to access the Members Area and all other site pages.

The ASG will be launching with Rift: Planes of Telara when it comes out on 1 March 2011.

In RIFT we will be a PvPvE and raiding guild on the Defiant side at launch.  We eventually hope to have the guild in Guardians faction also.  The ASG will strive to be a part of all gameplay styles and events RIFT has as well as offering roleplay forums on our website.

The ASG is made up of members mainly in the U.S. but if your in another nation and your on at the same time as us, feel free to join.  We are a casual-hardcore guild and our first and primary objective in games is to have fun while enjoying all that the game has to offer.  Of course we love to win and be powerful to but that's all secondary.  The ASG is for anyone, those who are new to games and just learning or those who are hardcore gamers wanting to earn a spot at the top of the leaderboards.  As long as your here to have fun, the guild and everyone in it will seek to support you no matter what your goals are.

We offer a very organized and structured guild environment in-game as well as here on our website.  We have a standard rank system as well as an additional specialty rank system, along with awards of all types.  The ASG is divided into three divisions, each having a different purpose either in-game or out and further divided into companies and then units.

In MMORPG's, the ASG employs the EP/GP=Priority system for determining loot distribution; with unit and company leaders ideally being the master looters.  Members earn DKP by supporting the guild in a variety of ways, increasing their effort points, and then spend DKP on gear/loot, increasing their gear points.  The resulting priority will determine who is most eligible for receiving loot.  This seems to be the fairest system as long as the master looter does not abuse their power, which is why only trusted members will become company/unit leaders.

We are a guild that tries to benefit all those who join regardless of your playing/gaming style or your experience and skill with games.  Offering fellow members to support you in-game and out or just give you someone to talk with during a boring quest so you have more than the NPC's annoying scriptlines to keep you company.
